Pascal Simon has built a 16-year experience in managing and delivering both strategy and operational performance projects: after 10 years in high-standards consulting firms (Mars & Co and the Boston Consulting Group) and 2 years at Constellium Aerospace and Transportation. He has been a Partner at Emerton since 2012.
Pascal has a deep expertise in operational performance, acquired through various types of high-stake assignments for global corporations (organization and process redesign, performance or cost reduction plans, industrial footprint redesign). He also conducted many strategy projects (e.g. portfolio optimization, growth strategy or due-diligences) for large corporations, industrial SMEs and private equity funds.
Based on his dual consulting and industrial experience, Pascal developed a deep expertise of the industrial sector, particularly in the process and material industries, as well as in the aerospace and automotive sectors. He also led numerous projects in the energy and environment sectors.
Pascal holds a Master of Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from the University of California at Berkeley
Sébastien Plessis is a partner at Emerton, with 16 years of experience in strategy consulting (with Mars & co, Bain & company and Emerton).
He assists CEOs and Executive Committees of leading international corporations and midsize companies in crafting their vision, corporate strategy and full potential strategy. He also works regularly with private equity firms.
Sébastien has functional expertise in strategy, corporate finance and due diligence, as well as marketing & sales and innovation.
He has expertise in the energy, mobility and high tech sectors.
Sébastien holds a Master of Business Administration from the ESSEC Business School in Paris, and graduated from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.
Before joining Emerton, Ayoul Grouvel built a 20-year career both in senior management roles at car manufacturers (Fiat Chrysler, PSA) and as Managing Director of a Frankfurt-based marketing agency (Signition), where he mostly focused on the automotive and mobility sector.
Dan is the Managing Partner of the Boston and NYC offices. Prior to Emerton he was a partner at OC&C in Paris, Shanghai and Boston.
Sébastien Zimmer leverages a 17-year experience in the energy sector, including 9 years in operational positions within energy companies (Total, BP, Engie, EDF) and 5 years as Head of Upstream Gas Infrastructures at the French Energy Regulatory Commission (CRE).
Sébastien has an in-depth experience in Oil & Gas. He led long-term gas and LNG supply negotiations, originated structured deals and analyzed investment opportunities in the upstream sector.
Moreover, Sébastien has built a distinctive expertise of regulated activities and energy infrastructures. At the CRE, he was in charge of organizing and regulating the French natural gas market by elaborating market rules and tariff schemes.
Sébastien led numerous strategic projects in the gas and power sectors for global energy players and infrastructure operators. Thanks to his distinctive expertise in the entire gas value chain Sebastien also intervenes as an expert in high-stake litigation cases (e.g. price reviews).
Sébastien holds two Masters of Engineering, from the Ecole des Mines de St-Etienne and from the IFP School.
